I’m a huge fan of New Year. It gives everyone an excuse to look back proudly on everything they’ve acheived in the year that’s past & get excited about new goals and challanges for the year ahead.
2014 for me was a rocky start. I was struggling with CFS, unemployed and very unhappy. I was totally lost. But with a lot of determination & patience, I’m coming out the other end a completely new person feeling proud, healthy & happy.
2014 for me was all about trying my best. And realising that can’t be measured against someone else’s. My best, meant I went from pushing myself to get out of bed every day, cutting refined sugar from my diet, walking to and from work – to jogging regularly, running my first 5km & studying to become a personal trainer. It wasn’t easy & there’s still a loooot of hard work to go, but it was so worth it.

And what does 2015 mean for me? Well I’m also a fan of lists, so here goes…
1. Complete my Certificate III & IV in Fitness
2. Work as a Personal Trainer to help people overcome their demons & overtake their goals
3. Continue to work on my own health & fitness – building my strength & my stamina, not letting CFS rear it’s ugly head
4. Concentrate on maintaining a healthy diet, without slipping out of it
5. Routine, routine, routine!
What will you be striving for this year?
Whatever your goals may be, here’s to a happy, healthy, exciting, busy, unforgettable 2015!
